Passion for Purple

Lately, purple has been poppin' up as a color choice in every store, and it's definitely eye catching. When I was a kid, I couldn't get enough of purple. I had a purple rug in my room, a purple comforter, purple clothes, and I even wrote a book about a girl named Purplelina. I quickly grew sick of the color as it faded out of style, but it's back, and making me fall in love all over again. I just bought a purple blackberry, (oxymoron?) a purple sweater, a purple scarf, and painted my toes Sally Hansen Lively Lilac. What is great about purple is that every shade is pretty, whether it's a soft lavender-esque tone, or a deep plum. Not many colors can claim beauty throughout the spectrum like purple can. Let's just say, I'm looking forward to a season of many more purple purchases.
